Tummy Ache Ruins My Day!

It all started when I had a tummy ache. Then, the rest was a ruin. I really hate it when my stomach messes up with me. I can bear headache, fever, colds or cough but upset stomach? It just drives me insane. Who wouldn’t be? It always drags me back and forth to the wash room regardless of where am at or what am doing. It’s like a demanding boss who yells at you to do this and that even at the middle of your coffee break.

I have this situation that every time my stomach rants like a nagging wife to her stubborn husband, the orifice down there acts like an active volcano ready to spew lava and butyric gases. It compels me to rush to the restroom or else I’ll end up a total stinky mess. I wouldn’t want that to happen, would I? I mean, at my age that’s a major embarrassment.

Here’s what happened. Last Friday, I really had a bad day. It’s supposed to be exciting since it’s the last leg of my work week then payday the following day. Just in time for the Halloween celebration. However, that same day I woke up early in the morning even before the tintinnabulation of my alarm. And, that’s because of a sharp pain in my stomach. I had to get off my bed and hurried my way to the toilet to, you know, respond to what I thought was just a simple call of nature. Only to find out it was just the start of a horror. I yanked myself five freaking times to the restroom, drank a lot of water, and took a couple of Loperamide tablets just to eliminate the pain and lessen the frequency of going to the bog. Because of that, I came in to work late. I could barely smile because of the discomfort that I was feeling. I was sulked most of the times. The mailers that I wrote were all rubbish. Oh, thanks to my lead for editing them. LOL. Per Demi in her comment to Migraine Boy’s blog entry in response to my comment, I kinda had wrinkles all over my face last Friday. Well, what can I say? I couldn’t agree more. LOL.

Really, tummy ache ruined my day! It always does!
